Listen to Your Car, It Might be Telling You Something

This 2003 GMC Yukon’s owner is a great example of a car owner who paid attention to their car or truck. The customer noticed as the weather started getting colder that their Yukon wasn’t running as well when it started, but after it warmed up it was fine. Rather than ignore the issue they brought their GMC to Integrity Automotive to have it inspected by one of our certified car repairmen. After closer inspection, it was discovered that the intake manifold gaskets were leaking. When the car was cold the gaskets would shrink. As the truck warmed up, the gaskets would expand sealing the leak. This was a relatively easy manifold gasket replacement but could have been worse and could have caused additional damage if ignored.
