Bring on the nostalgia! Who doesn’t love seeing one of these classic 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetles driving down the street? But just like other cars, if not more so, classic cars need maintenance checks.

The owner of this classic Beetle wants it running more reliably, they are concerned with a carburetor issue along with a few oil leaks. Integrity Automotive’s classic car specialists will be doing a complete front to back inspection on this Volkswagen to ensure there are no other issues the owner might run into later.

At Integrity Automotive our goal is not only to get our customers back on the road as quickly as possible, but also to make sure they feel safe in their vehicle.

For those of you that aren’t aware (if you aren’t where have you been?) Integrity Automotive’s classic car specialists have worked on a few of Rob Ayres trucks in the past. Well, here is another one. This 1972 Ford Ranger was Rob’s truck in high school.

Unlike the other trucks Rob has sent Integrity Automotive’s way, this truck came from the factory with air conditioning. But the factory air conditioning for cars back than used an older version of freon called R12. Because of concerns with global warming a modern version of freon R134 is now the recommended norm so our certified classic car specialist is swapping out the factory air conditioning unit for this more environmentally friendly one. (It also produces colder A/C)

>Integrity Automotive’s mechanics will also be thoroughly inspecting the exhaust system to look for proper emissions levels before it goes for a smog check.

If you have a project car in your garage that you never have time for, stop letting it sit around and collect dust! Call Integrity Automotive’s classic car specialists to get it up and running so you can finally enjoy your classic beauty out on the open road.

This 1965 Pontiac GTO was brought back to us to diagnose a clutch pedal issue. The customer complained that the hotter the GTO gets the stiffer (binds) it gets. Integrity Automotive’s certified classic car specialist also noted an issue with the pressure plate failing and a noise in neutral.

If your classic car doesn’t run as well as it used to, bring it to Integrity Automotive and have our certified classic car specialists look it over. Let our mechanics get your classic car back to the way it used to be, and let you enjoy your classic like you used to.
