Integrity Automotive wants to emphasize how important proper car maintenance is to your vehicle. This is a 2001 Dodge Dakota with a bad throwout bearing in the clutch of the truck. The throwout bearing is part of your car (or truck) clutch system that temporarily disengages the engine from the manual transmission while shifting.

Unfortunately this customer heard the noise and let it go a little too long. What could have been just a throwout bearing replacement will probably also be a new clutch assembly, and we’re hoping not the transmission as well.

If your vehicle is making an unusual noise isn’t driving smoothly, don’t wait. Give us a call and bring it in. Don’t let a small fix become a big fix!

Integrity Automotive does more than oil changes! This is a Ford F-150 Fleet vehicle brought into us from Custom Aire. This turned out to be a pretty major undertaking. The full rear end needed to either be replaced or cleaned because of metal contamination (we’ll explain what that is later).

The issue all started when the differential (the part of the car that compensates for differences in distance from inner and outer wheels while driving) blew apart. This required the replacement of the differential and all the bearings. You can see a before and after picture below.

Integrity Automotive is always happy to fix those “mystery” problems. One common problem that many car owners can’t figure out themselves turns out to be pretty simple from batteries continually loosing charge, to beeping, to lights flashing or not always starting. These issues can often be traced back to the installation of an aftermarket alarm system.

One of two problems usually ensues when a customer has an aftermarket alarm installed.

Integrity Automotive is always happy to help! This is a 1969 Jeep CJ5. This customer was trying to do a clutch install themselves. Unfortunately they purchased the wrong throw-out bearing and did not properly install it causing a snowball effect. This customer made the right decision and called Integrity Automotive. We replaced and fixed all of his issues, and he is now back on the road enjoying the back country of Tahoe.

If you have a car or truck you have been working on and realized you might have taken on more than you can chew, don’t panic, give Integrity Automotive a call; and we will get it back on the road for you.

In addition to cars, trucks and classic automobiles, Integrity Automotive works on fleet vehicles. We work with many local companies to ensure their fleet vehicles stay up and running.

Custom Aire Mechanical Contractors is our example today. This Fleet / Work truck is getting front and rear brakes and their timing cover serviced, because it has started to leak.

To encourage our local business’s to get their work trucks checked and stay up and running, we do offer discounts on labor and parts for Commercial Work / Fleet Vehicles.
